Ordered Bravo for the first time last night for Cozaroake garage party and delivery was prompt and pizzas were well liked by all. Everybody kept asking where the pizzas and wings came from. We definitely recommend them and know all the local pizza places. Disclaimer: we may or may not have been sober while eating the pizzas after 5 hours of sampling at screw city beer fest. Bravo to Bravo!

We went there for dinner last night because we read all the great reviews. I've never been more disappointed. Don't get me wrong, my expectations weren't too high. It is south Beloit. But it was simply unacceptable. The food was average. And the service was the worst I've had in a VERY long time. I ordered a bottle of wine and a glass of water. We also ordered 2 appetizers- bruschetta and mozzarella sticks. When they arrived my fiancé asked for a side of ranch. After 15 minutes went by another waitress came to clear the bruschetta plate and I had to ask her for the ranch. Also, the bruschetta was terrible. It looked and tasted like they had diced tomatoes, mixed them with vinegar and dry basil, left them in a bucket for several days and then placed them on small toasted pieces of bread. The waitress just dropped off my bottle of wine and a wine glass. It's not a big deal because I'm perfectly capable of pouring my own wine but she never did bring my water & with all the other issues I gave up on asking for it again. The next time that we saw our waitress again she was bringing our entrees. My fiancé had to tell her that we were both supposed to have salads as well. She did bring those very quickly and apologized for forgetting about us. She then asked if we wanted the bread (that she also forgot). We declined it since we already had our meals in front of us. The salads were good. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was good as well. Not great, just good. My fiancé had the smothered chicken and she was pretty disappointed with it. It had pools of oil in the bowl and she described the flavor as having one note. When the waitress finally made her way back to check on us she was prompt about getting us to-go containers and bringing the check. I note the times when she was prompt because the entire rest of the visit was painfully slow. We waited 20 minutes for her to come back and take our credit card. We had finally had enough, so my fiancé just took our bill to the to-go counter so that we could pay, leave and never come back.

I have eaten at Bravo Pizza more than a dozen times so this review is a reflection of those many visits... I can honestly say I have yet to have a meal that I was not unhappy or unsatisfied. All of meals have been for lunch and I must watch what I order because portions are sometimes too large if I'm going back to work. Sandwiches, pasta, Nigeria, fish... It's all really good!! Funny thing is I've yet to try their pizza and that's what they know for. The service is always very friendly and helpful! One of my favorites stops when I'm in the Rockford area.

I love Bravo Pizza in South Beloit IL. Being lactose intolerant I should probably stay away from Italian joints but forget it!!! I started ordering sausage mushroom pizza with no cheese and it was made perfectly.. :) The sauce is so yummy.. Then we dined in, tried the mostacolli and spaghetti..it was so good!! But the one thing I keep thinking about is how yummy their bread is.. I may have to go back today for some more.. Overall, great food..and I would totally go back!!!

Good mainstream Italian fare. We use them often to provide sandwiches, pizza and such for working lunches and everyone always raves; good food, large portions and quick and friendly service.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. To start the servers were prompt and efficient. The courses were timed well. By the time I was done with my soup, the bravo sticks came. By the time my husband and I finished those the main course was coming. The cheesy bacon potato soup was terrific. Potatoes just soft enough but not mushy and the bacon added the perfect crisp. The chicken of the chicken parmigiana was cooked perfect, it was just, sadly, drowned in sauce. They could have kept half of the sauce and I would've been happy.

The thin crust is like most any other place. It is good, but nothing that differentiates it from the pack. However, the Sicilian pizza has a little sweeter sauce that was really good. It is affordable and definitely have leftovers. The crust is thicker, but not too doughy. I'll get it again and try more!

The table bread was the best Italian bread I've ever had. It was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It wasn't dry either. Used with the oil, it was perfect. I got a calzone and bravo sticks. The bravo sticks were really good, some places make "bosco" sticks too oily and gross. These were not that oily at all. The calzone was huge! It's the biggest one I've seen for the area, totally worth the money as well. However, it was a little dry. If you dip it in the sauce, it's not so bad. I believe they brush butter over the bread before the bake it. This makes it flakey on top and gives it a good golden brown as well. The calzone was overall good. I would still get it again if I went. I love their prices for what you get. You get tons of food while not breaking the bank. The service was outstanding because for all the things we got, we got it pretty quick. The staff was very nice and very attentive. My wife got the Chicken Parmesan and it wasn't bad as well. The only thing was that it had too much marinara sauce on it. Reduce the amount and it wasn't bad at all. Overall, I definitely look forward to my next visit!

Very friendly staff and management. We order out a few times a month since we live so close by. Chicken Alfredo is very good! The pizza is really good too. I usually keep it simple and get the cheese and sausage pizza. I will continue to go here and would suggest others to try as well.

They have great food here! They have really good portion sizes and the prices are very reasonable. Anytime I am in this area I eat here. Its one of those places that would never know about unless somebody took you there or recommended it. I recommend it.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century.
